Christchurch trams should be back on track by Christmas.Things are beginning to move a little in the earthquake devastated southern New Zealand city.

It is unimaginable what happened to Christchurch, and especially its people. Let's hope there is a good recovery, though I know it will never be the same.

Thanks Di. No, Christchurch will never be the city I was brought up in; too many buildings have been lost, and the cathedral will come down and, hopefully be replaced. But probably not in my lifetime. They have the opportunity to build some great modern buildings that will be the equal of those overseas, if not as high. They will plants some more great gardens to continue the Garden City name. Hope much of the flood damage in Queensland is being repaired. Somebody up there had a real snitcher on the Anzacs..
