GBE2: Blog on: My first love - My 1939 Chevrolet Sedan...



GBE2: Blog on:    My first love - my 1939 six-cylinder Chevrolet Sedan. I had this car when I was living in Auckland, New Zealand in 1966. I was just a skinny 22 year old then. I'm an overweight grandfather of twelve now.

I used to drive my "First Love " around the streets of Auckland inviting other potential first loves for a ride of their lives. My "love" was pale blue and I saw a photo on Flikr, but I wasn't able to download it. I have some photos of other identical cars of that model.

I didn't even drive a car at this point. All the blokes had licences, but not the girls.

It was a bit of a bomb really; the one in the photo is a done-up one. But cast iron pistons in those babes.
